Remembering

“God is sheer mercy and grace;
not easily angered, he’s rich in love.

He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold,
nor hold grudges forever.
He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve,
nor pay us back in full for our wrongs.

As high as heaven is over the earth,
so strong is his love to those who fear him.

And as far as sunrise is from sunset,
he has separated us from our sins.

As parents feel for their children,
God feels for those who fear him.”

Psalm 103 vv7-14  The Message Bible

our hope for joy….

I snapped this photo last Friday on Pajama Day while the kindergartners were whirling about, tossing teddy bears and running in the fresh air.
None of them knew what the grown ups knew about that other school on the other side of the country. Pray God help us as we help them talk about this awful time–and remind them of our loving Father’s care, which is greater than our own.

  1. Jody, you were a treat, both for the photo and the Word. That was a really neat treat for family members of your K.-kids.

    Miss you, dear. Greet and hug your hubby and Mary. Think of you often…
