The Blacksmith

I couldn’t help thinking this week
about how God has been driving home my out loud
confession of wanting to ‘dwell’ in Him this year.

“Send forth your light and your truth,
let them guide me;
let them bring me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you dwell.”
Psalm 43:3

Yes, He’s been hammering that theme relentlessly on my soul these past few weeks.

How about you?

  1. Isn't it interesting how God takes our desires and molds them in His own way? Thanks for the reminder that God takes seriously the cries of our heart. I have been reading a prayer of St. Augustine this week with much trepidation…”O Lord, the house of my soul is narrow; enlarge it that thou mayestFAYer in.”

    Happy Dwelling! Kel

  2. The anvil of our souls…liking that. Sometimes I can feel the blows.
    Happy New Year, Jody.
    Bless you, girl.
