Just Because #6

New, Amazing Things

“Then you will know which way to go,
since you have never been this way before.
But keep a distance of
about a thousand yards
between you and the ark;
do not go near it,” Joshua told the people.
“Consecrate yourselves,
for tomorrow the LORD
will do amazing things among you.”
Joshua 3:4,5
walking on a new path this season? I am.
Wanting to remember to
stay close to God’s presence and let Him lead–
He is going to do amazing new things.

Sharing is caring!

  1. Jody. This is so good & true. New season & new path. Never been here before. Just like Cell's comment. Husband unemployed over a year now & I took early retirement. We are close to God & trusting Him! Thank you. Blessings

  2. Hi Jody Lee! What good news you bring in this post today. Yes, I am in a season of waiting, my husband remains unemployed (its been over a year), and soon we'll be anticipating the birth of The Lord. But he will bring the victory, and do a good thing.

    Can't wait!!
    Have a good weekend 🙂

  3. Nancy, I'm so glad I listened to the Holy Spirit on posting this verse! May God continue to confirm the work he has for you.

  4. Your post resonated in my spirit, Jody. God may be leading me on a new path–too soon to know for sure yet. My prayer: “Lord, I give you myself to be used as you see fit. Keep me focused on you, Father, so I may follow you closely with each step.”

If he is going to do amazing new things, I want to be compliant and watchful. To miss a manifestation of his glory would be heart-breaking!
