I often brainstorm with clients about the most effective way for them to begin widening the reach of their words online.
The best foundation is a website, a virtual bulletin board of your work, contacts and information all in one place. There are free platforms available to begin, like WordPress, SquareSpace and Blogger, and if you have the time to invest in navigating the process, you can design a lovely place to land.
Here’s what I would include to begin:
A SUBSCRIBE tab that is connected to a mail service (ConvertKit, MailerLite, MailChimp) to gather readers’ info to send subscriber emails
A HOME button to get visitors back home after they’ve clicked somewhere else on your page
Links/icons/widgets to all your social accounts
Clear & Correct tab names of
BLOG (or JOURNAL)
PUBLISHED (or FEATURED IN)
