The season ahead is a busy one and I want to keep myself centered on Jesus. I read this the other day, Jude 21,
“Keep yourselves in God’s love
as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ
to bring you to eternal life.” NIV
Then I looked up the definition of ‘keep’ and was astounded at the results. This is no ordinary four letter word–it is full of action; you’ll see what I mean.

November 3rd kicks off a new season of meditating and memorizing God’s Word.
We’re camping in Psalm 27–only 14 verses–through Christmas and into the New Year. Slow and Steady. If you’d like to join us, click here for the details.
Yes, I do love those rich definitions….this one is full! Thanks for reading.
WOW! With all those applicable definitions for the verb, “keep,” we could camp for a long time in that one little verse from Jude! Thank you for this concept-rich post, Jody!
I love this Season, but it is a good reminder to plan to keep calm and lean in to Jesus.
Fondly,
