Published Work

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing my words in print since newspapers were a thing. Besides copies of old Letters to the Editor and acceptance emails for both print and online writing (along with plenty of rejections!), I’ve also had the joy of holding four of my own books in my hands: Mining the Bright Birds: Poems of Longing for Home, (Wipf & Stock, 2023), a small chapbook, “Emmanuel Poems-Verses for the Holidays,” (2024), “Hearts on Pilgrimage-Poems & Prayers,”  (2021) and “Living the Season Well-Reclaiming Christmas” (2017, rev. 2018).  

Below are three lists of where my work has appeared both virtually and on paper. (Well, except the newspaper records which are long gone.) You’ll also find video and podcast interviews for your listening enjoyment.

My writing journey began in 8th grade typing class and while I’m grateful for computers, I do miss Smith Corona typewriters!
